Professor Aiken is Professor and Chair of the Department of Cyberpsychology at Capitol Technology University Washington and Professor of Forensic Cyberpsychology at the University of East London. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Geary Institute for Public Policy, University College Dublin. Prof. Dr Aiken is a member of INTERPOL’s Global Cybercrime Expert Group and an Academic Advisor to Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre.
Professor Aiken co led a White House research team during the Obama Administration’s initiative on technology-facilitated human trafficking. She advises the UK government’s Online Safety Data Initiative that brings together government, academia, industry and civil society stakeholders.
